Moomin Melamine Mug Sweethearts

This Moomin mug features Moomintroll picking up flowers on one side, which he then offers to Snorkmaiden on the other side. It also has an inscription with Moomintroll words to his sweetheart: ‘These are for you, so that you can decorate yourself all over the most beautiful Snorkmaiden in the world’. The mug is made of melamine which is more durable than plastic but more lightweight than porcelain. Melamine cannot be put into the microwave or the oven as high temperatures severely damage melamine surfaces. It can be washed in the dishwasher at temperatures less then 60 °C, but handwash is recommended, as the dishwasher may fade the colors. Used properly, melamine products are safe and durable.
