Prices for residents in the European Union

The correct prices are displayed only after adding an address to the account. All prices at Finland Quality Design are gross prices including Finnish VAT, which is generally 24% , 14% for sweets and candies, resp. 10% for books. The total price includes the price for the products and the shipping fees. The total price is visible at the checkout-page before confirming the order, as soon as you have chosen your country of destination.

Prices for residents outside the European Union

If your shipping address is outside the European Union, the prices at our website are VAT/Sales taxes excluded. You pay applicable import taxes and customs fee according to your country’s policy when your order is delivered. You may also be charged an administrative fee by the shipping company. To see the correct prices you must add an address to the account.

Secure Payments

We accept payments using credit and debit cards, online payment services of all Finnish banks. Our credit card payments and online bank payments are processed by SVEA. We offer money transfer to our bank account.

SVEA eMaksut Payments

eMaksut payment service is offered by SVEA Group Ltd (Company registration number 2121703-0) in co-operation with banks and credit institutions. You as a consumer are not required to register or pay extra costs for using the payment service. SVEA Group Ltd is an authorized payment institution supervised by the Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA). All data transfer and money transactions are SSL secured meaning that no external party can see your personal information. SVEA Group Ltd is the payment receiver.

Online Bank Payments

You can use the online payment services of all Finnish banks: Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, LähiTapiola, Nordea, OP, POP Bank, Säästöpankit, S-Bank, and Ålandsbanken.

Card Payments (Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Business Eurocard)

In transactions paid by credit or debit card, SVEA Group Ltd acts as the vendor, which means that SVEA and the buyer are the parties of the business transaction. The web store is responsible for marketing and delivering the products or services and for handling possible reclamations. SVEA Group Ltd is the payment receiver, and it also handles reclamations regarding payments.

Refusal of transaction

To be eligible to purchase products from us on this website and form a contract you must:

  • Be at least eighteen years of age
  • Register using your real name, phone number, e-mail address and payment details
  • Provide a shipping address that is not a PO box or Poste restante
  • Use a valid credit/debit card


We cannot accept your order if any of the following occurs:

  • We cannot charge your credit card for some reason.
  • If we are unable to deliver for reasons out of our control or that we do not have the product(s) in stock.

 

Ways of delivery

We use Finnish Post to ship our products.

  • Shipping within Finland is by Economy Parcel – normally 1-2 working days. The parcel must be picked-up from your Post Office with the notice of delivery or the tracking number. The shipment is delivered against signature. The recipient must be prepared to to verify his or her identity.
  • Shipping outside Finland is by Priority Parcel. Delivery times are estimates:
    • Nordic countries 2–5 working days
    • Rest of Europe 3–7 working days
    • Rest of the world 6–14 working days

    The day of posting is not included. These estimates do not include possible delays which may be caused by the Customs procedures of the country of destination. In some countries, items are delivered directly to the addressee; in others it is taken to the nearest postal outlet and a notification of arrival is sent to the addressee. P.O. box addresses are not allowed. Postal Parcel International is delivered to the adressee: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania,  Luxemburg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland and USA.

The  usual time for processing your order is 5 working days. As soon as your order is shipped, we will send a shipping confirmation by e-mail.

Transport liability

Finland Quality Design is responsible if the shipment is damaged or lost during transportation to the customer. If the shipment is damaged or lost when returning it on your initiative, you are responsible for loss or damage. We recommend packing returned products in the original container/box or similar. Furthermore, we recommend insuring the shipment.

If shipments with obvious damages are delivered, you are obliged to make a complaint to the transportation company immediately and to refuse the acceptance of the shipment. Please also contact our customer service, so that Finland Quality Design is able to protect its rights to satisfy claims against the transportation company. Hidden damages are to be reported to Finland Quality Design (contact us at https://www.finlandquality.com/contact-us) immediately after your notice, not later than 5 days after receiving the shipment.

Undelivered package

If the carrier was unable to deliver the package to the recipient and the parcel is returned to us, Finland Quality Design has right to charge you with the amount of 40 EUR for the return and handling costs.

Complaints

Please contact our customer service at https://www.finlandquality.com/contact-us if you have any problems such as damages, defective products or, in any way, incorrect orders. If parcel arrives in bad condition and products inside are missing or damaged you also need to make a complaint to the delivering company, directly after discovering the problem. Please note that we need photos sent to us in order to handle your complaint. If returning any product, after agreed with our customer service representative, use the original package, include a description of the damage, mark the package "RETURN" and return to:

Return policy

Finland Quality Design comply with the European Union E-commerce directive which means that you can return a product if you are not completely satisfied.  When returning a product it must be in unchanged condition. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable shipping service when returning a product. The price of the products, shipping costs deducted, will be refunded within 20 days from the day that the product is delivered to Finland Quality Design. If you use your right to return a product, the shipping costs, custom and handlings fees will be paid by you.

You can always cancel your order before the shipment has been dispatched from our warehouse. Your cancellation must be written in form of an E-mail covering all order details. Laws

The conditions in this contract shall be governed by and construed with the laws of Finland and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland.
