Prices for Residents in the European Union

The correct prices are displayed only after adding an address to the account. All prices at Finland Quality Design are gross prices including Finnish VAT, which is generally 24%, 14% for sweets and candies, resp. 10% for books. The total price includes the price for the products and the shipping fees. The total price is visible at the checkout-page before confirming the order, as soon as you have chosen your country of destination.

Prices for Residents outside the European Union

If your shipping address is outside the European Union, the prices on our website are VAT/Sales taxes excluded. You pay applicable import taxes and customs fee according to your country’s policy when your order is delivered. You may also be charged an administrative fee by the shipping company. To see the correct prices you must add an address to the account.

Secure Payments

We accept payments using credit and debit cards (Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Business Eurocard), online payment services of all Finnish banks, and PayPal. Card payments are processed by Svea and Revolut, and online bank payments are processed by Svea. We offer money transfer to our bank account. We do not collect or store credit card information. This information is processed directly by the payment providers (Svea, Revolut, PayPal).

Shipping Information

We offer worldwide shipping to most countries. We use FedEx, DHL, GLS, and Finnish Post to ship our products.

The usual time for processing your order before shipping is 5 working days. As soon as your order is shipped, we will send a shipping confirmation with the tracking number by e-mail.

Most shipping methods require a valid phone number where the carriers will send the notice of arrival. Before placing the order please make sure that your phone number and email address are correct.

Shipping to Finland

Shipping within Finland is by Postal Parcel or Home Parcel – normally 1-2 working days after shipping. For Postal Parcel, the parcel must be picked-up from your post office with the notice of arrival sent by SMS or the tracking number. The shipment is delivered against signature. The recipient must be prepared to verify their identity.

Shipping to Finland is free for orders over 100 Euro.

International Shipping

Shipping time outside Finland depends on the service chosen and it can be by FedEx Economy (3-6 business days), Fedex Priority (1-3 business days), DHL Express (1-3 business days), GLS, Deutsche Post, and Finnish Post.

Sometimes, we may need to change the delivery service. In this case we will inform you only if the new service is slower. For example for bulky products with large volume, some shipping services may be too expensive. Another instance is when the address is in a remote area for which FedEx and DHL charge extra. In this case we would ship with Deutsche Post, Finnish Post, or GLS.

Shipping to Germany, Denmark, and Sweden is free for orders over 250 Euro.

Transport Liability

  • For the transportation of the order to our customers, Finland Quality Design is fully responsible for any damage or loss.
  • For the transportation of a return, you are fully responsible for any damage or loss. We therefore strongly recommend the use of a trackable and insured shipping service. Please make sure the products are unused and in their original packaging.

If shipments with obvious damages are delivered, you are obliged to make a complaint to the shipping company immediately and to refuse the acceptance of the shipment. Please also contact our customer service, so that Finland Quality Design is able to file a claim with the shipping company. Hidden damages should be reported immediately after they are noticed.

Undelivered Package

If the carrier was unable to deliver the package to the recipient, or the package is not claimed, and the it is returned to us, Finland Quality Design has the right to charge the asdditional incurred costs.

Only returning the goods or not collecting them from the delivery point, without a separate notice of return, is not sufficient to withdraw from the purchase agreement. It is your responsibility to show that the notification of return has been made to Finland Quality Design.

Return Policy

Finland Quality Design customers have the right to return products within 30 days of delivery. When returning a product, it must be in unchanged condition, including the packing material and accessories.

We strongly recommend that you use a trackable shipping service when returning a product. When we receive the products, we will refund their price within 14 days from the day that the product is delivered to Finland Quality Design. We will not refund the shipping cost. In case of free shipping, we will deduct the actual shipping cost. If you use your right to return a product, the retun shipping costs, customs and handlings fees will be paid by you.

If the returned product has been used, damaged or is unsuitable for resale, Finland Quality Design has the right to charge a fee for loss of value up to the full price of the product.

The products can be returned to the address from the invoice, however, you must contact us first to notify about the intention to return.

You can always cancel your order before the shipment has been dispatched from our warehouse. Your cancellation must be sent by e-mail or by contacting customer service, covering all order details. If you need more information regarding returns, please contact customer service

Complaints

Please contact our customer service if you have any problems such as damages, defective products, or incorrect orders. If the parcel arrives in bad conditions and products inside are missing or damaged you also need to make a complaint to the delivering company, directly after discovering the problem. Please note that we need photos sent to us in order to handle your complaint. If returning any product, after agreed with our customer service, use the original package, include a description of the damage, mark the package "RETURN" and return it to:

Laws

The conditions in this contract shall be governed by and construed with the laws of Finland and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland.
