Moomin Edward the Booble Bean Bag Soft Toy

Have you met Edward the Booble? Do come and get to know him, as a bean bag stuffed toy.

Though Edward resembles a dragon, he is actually a booble (or a dodo), the biggest animal after his brother. Edward the Booble lives in the sea but is equally nimble on water and on land. In Tove Jansson’s books, Edward can be found bathing in The Exploits of Moominpappa.

As a beanie plush, Edward the Booble is not quite so gigantic (he measures 20 cm in height) and he is less keen on taking baths (even though he can be spot-cleaned by hand). The beanie plush is filled with fiberfill and plastic bean-like pellets, making the plush soft and smooth yet posable: it can be positioned sitting on the edge of a shelf, looking at the occupant of the room colouring, sleeping, and playing with other toys, but always ready for play. The toy is just the right size to be taken along to trips but big enough to be cuddled.
